As a Graphic Designer, your responsibilities will include understanding customer requirements, creating a representative design of concepts and proofs for customers to review. You will also document design specifications for production. You will work as the sales representative to ensure complete customer satisfaction of the final product. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated, a self-started, and an upbeat team player who can work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and who is determined to make every project his or her absolute best.

The ideal candidate must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite. Large format printing experience is highly desirable. This position will also require someone who is willing to understand other areas of the workflow process and be willing to work outside of design to perform duties helping the business grow. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist the Head Graphic Designer in design efforts for various client sign and marketing projects.
• Assist in developing marketing concepts for client projects.
• Research the effectiveness of designs and layouts of client banners, signs and promotions.
• Works with customers with file transfers, FTP access, photo library options, online proofs, etc.
• Creates proofs and sends to customers using the online proofing system
• Prepares comprehensive illustrations, sketches, layouts, and copy for print reproduction according to specifications of client or instruction from supervisor
• Performs customer logo maintenance and sourcing
• Inspects jobs for accuracy before sending them to the plotter or printer
• Loads materials on/into printer and/or laminator, which may require some lifting
• Interacts with customers by phone or in person to help guide them through the design process
• Maintains accurate electronic and paper records
• Works on different projects simultaneously
• Maintains all equipment including plotters and printers
• Complete invoices/work-orders
• Assist in the manufacture of signs as needed
• Prepare vinyl graphics for application as needed
• Will need a valid driver’s license in the event of having to meet potential clients to engage sales.
